Sarah Robbins enjoys wearing many hats. On any given day she is an illustrator, a designer, a printmaker, and a crafter. All of these interests feed into one another as part of her working practice.
After graduating from MICA in 2013, she founded Bone Black Press, restoring an 8×12 Chandler and Price antique printing press to create her own line of illustrated paper products. At the same time she built a love for visual journalism illustration, observing every detail and translating it into inky drawings.
She is a co-founder of PaperBase, a co-working studio space for printmakers and illustrators in Baltimore, encouraging many other artists to wear lots of hats.
She currently lives in Baltimore with 2 cats, 2 snakes, a turtle, and 3 tarantulas.http://www.sarahrobbinsdraws.com
