matt taylor is a twenty-eight year old artist, illustrator and designer from brighton, england.
he lives a stones throw from the sea and can often be found travelling by bicycle, drawing, photographing, running, thinking about cats, looking at waves, and making marks on paper.
he is influenced by comic books, found photos, wildlife, the sea and its mysteries, National Geographic magazine and the work of Paul Pope, Jack Kirby, Tomer Hanuka, and James Jean amongst other artists too numerous to mention.
his clients to date include: Penguin Books, Burton Snowboards (with JDK), Canon, TeeFury, Graniph, Wired, Microsoft, Plan B magazine, New Balance, Top Gear magazine, as well as numerous smaller clothing companies, zines, club nights and concerts.
his work has been exhibited by: Gallery 1988 (Los Angeles), Hearts & Minds (New York), Playlounge/Puma (London) and has been featured in Arkitip, Creativity (US) and Computer Arts magazines amongst others.
