Born in Moscow/Russia where I grew up and studied for two years Fashion Design at the School of Design and Art. Moved to Berlin/Germany, continued studying in Animation and attained a diploma at the Academy of Film and TV in Potsdam/Babelsberg. During the study, I animated and directed two films which have been presented in lot of festivals over the world.
Animation has been very helpful for me in developing my drawing skills, particularly when I worked as animator for a number of cartoon companies.
For the last two years, I have been working as professional illustrator.
I do not know to make anything else. I am inspired by the world around me, particularly the simple, banal things that are often overlooked. This everything it makes me reflect and helps me to understand the world better. The greatest achievement for me is has been to discover that it was possible to make a living out of what I love to do.
My work is constantly evolving but some things never change. I do not believe in "finding a style“. An artist should always think of changing and evolving.
My hope is that my pictures might make someone feel happy and dreaminess or something similar to dreaminess, even if it is just for a moment.
