David's father used to work at the Royal Academy of Arts. Every now and again he and his brother would get access to the galleries before they opened to the public. These were in the days before cctv, and the security guards weren't on duty. They were free to absorb all this art - touch the picassos, taste the monets, feeling as well as seeing. From this point David knew he wanted to draw every day, to be given the chance to create. Art college came and went, he still draws every day. He recommends you do not touch national treasures too much as it can get you in a lot of trouble. Unless you are sure you can get away with it David Bray.
